As you said, this debate mostly highlights the crucial aspects [and boundaries] or marriage and family legislation in the 21st century. I thoroughly enjoyed your discussion of the various points.

I would like to address a comman phinomina which seems to be recurrent in the transsexual community and that is that many transsexual women were really men who were suffering a severe case of ocd and so lets at least agree that while there may be justification for a person to undergo transition but it is at least advisable to 1st rule out the possibility of there being another condition it is just advisable because transition is a permanent procedure and there are reversal techniques so caution is advisable

The bias by many in the haredi world against gays and transsexuals is mostly due to ignorance to the
Point where if you would try and explain the condition to them they will just boo you down and even close their ears claiming that this condition is not allowed to be heard because it could have a bad hashpueh on them all this while the fact remains that many with this tough condition will even end up commiting suicide but this never gets taken into account.the shas minister who called us narcatic is evil

I must add that the claim that we
r not allowed 2 castrate our bodies because our body is a loan from G-d well i agree that our body is holy but when it comes to saving a life we r even allowed 2 desecrate the shabis and so us transsexuals that stand continuously on the brink of suicide due 2 our inborn condition have a right 2 correct our bodies because its just like a rodef and is similar 2 a person suffering diabetes where
the doctors have no choice but to amputate his leg 2 save him from immenent death

Hi, I am gald to come across to your website. As I am the programme officer of domestic workers programme, at my organisation, I have been working towards standards setting for doemstic workers, and eventual inclusion of domestic workers under national labour laws. Your bill of rights is invaluable for us to see what legal initaitves are being undertaken in elsewhere. We have launched One-Day-Off campaign in Asia. In Solidarity, Valentina. Malaysia.

Audrey-I hardly ever use a pattern for making yarmulkas. Also, most people crochet them, I have never met anyone who has knitted one. It's one of those projects that you need someone to show you, the stitching is the easy part - the hard part is learning when to increase because it has to be done gradually as you work your way out.

Hey Shelly! I actually made up the pattern myself, working from a pattern from this fantastic book which is has hundreds of standard patterns which can be used for an infinite number of projects. I can dig around at home to remember the size of the yarn that I used, which was quite thin.
